Kia Ora and Welcome to Stonehurst Accommodation ChristchurchIt is with much sadness that we confirm the demise of Stonehurst. We were very badly damaged in the Canterbury earthquake and it is unlikely that we will reopen in the foreseeable future. All staff and guests escaped serious injury and that is the main thing. We have not been able to access our reservation or accounting systems and until we can, we cannot refund anyone. Please be assured that we will address this, together with the retrieval of personal belongings and luggage, with urgency once we are allowed back into the buildings. We will be setting up an account for all those who were staying with us on the day of the earthquake to donate their key deposit and/or any prepaid accommodation to the Red Cross. This is also open to those who were due to stay but were unable to. Please advise if you wish to contribute.
